Why healthcare

Experience that carries into healthcare.

Each role on my résumé has served the Defense Health Agency, which runs the U.S. military's health system, or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Patient privacy and health records have been part of my work for years. Now I am ready to bring that experience to a hospital system, health insurer, or health network.

Protecting patient information

Since 2021, I have supported the Defense Health Agency's Cyber Operations Chief, whose portfolio protects patient information across all of its healthcare systems.

Electronic health records

In 2020, I managed the delivery of a blood bank system interface for the VA's electronic health record rollout, and briefed milestones to VA program leadership.

The people behind every change

On VA programs (2011 to 2017, and again in 2020), I worked with VA working groups, user acceptance groups, and union labor representatives to shape how new systems work for the people who use them.

Experience

15+ years supporting the Defense Health Agency and VA.
